As the CNTR endeavors to release its works under an open license, volunteers are required to sign the CNTR Volunteer Agreement so that copyright permission does not have to be obtained from each individual contributor in order to distribute a work. Those who also wish to become an official member of the CNTR staff must sign the CNTR Statement of Faith. Here are a few of the big picture items with larger roles that could be filled by volunteers:
- Coordinate the acquisition of church father data. This can be found from multiple sources and in multiple formats, and some of it may need to be crowd-sourced.
- Design the next version of the Statistical Restoration Greek New Testament. Expertise in the areas of data science or artificial intelligence would also be useful.
- Expand the CNTR website to contain manuscripts of the Old Testament. Much of the existing infrastructure can be reused, but must be adapted for Hebrew and Aramaic texts.
